Who I Was
Always can find a smile
in the lowest times
a cheerful voice to talk to
when somone needed one
connfident, and always looking forward
I was exactly who I wanted to be
then situations changed
and so did I
Scared
Yelling at friends
Asuming the worst
smiles were less comon
The opposit of who I was, and who I wanted to be
I let my fears and insecurites take hold
came so close to loosing the ones I held close
untill the day I realized what I had become
the face in the mirror wasnt one that I could love
change
I remembered being happy
and being the muse for my friends when they were down
I wont let my fear ruin me any more
I will better myself
as a person
as a brother
as a son
as a friend
you can never go back to who you were
but you can move on
and become more
so much more
I’m finally starting to see the me I want to be
I wont go back -

My Last Breathe
The darks of our our eyes are deeper then any sea.
The holes torn in the sky closed back up when I screamed out
a lullaby, and wished my demons sweet dreams
and as they closed there eyes, I took off into the breeze.
The rain hides the tears of people ashamed to cry.
Love notes and kisses goodbye make me glad that I’m alive.
The stars in the sky resemble the lights in our eyes.
We may pass on, but our memories never die.
It’s a concept I try to grasp:
We are the unfinished painting, painted by the past
and when the paintings finished, it will be beautiful, and forever it will last
in the art exhibits that exist inside of
anyone you’ve ever touched, and the hearts that you’ve crushed
the ones you hold close, the ones that had your trust
the time you thought you lost when you were in a rush
and every single smile you ever helped pick up
When you dwell in the past you find yourself in hell
but when your heart swells, you can escape from your cell
don’t press repeat on the same sad song
like the leaves: blow away when it’s time to move on
Just flow with the wind, there’s no reason to be scared
I’ll give my last breathe to let you know that I…Fear keeps us bound by our feat for a while,
while love sets us free, and retreats into a smile.
Life hands us keys that open doors to different trials,
so i took the time to arrange and sort them into piles.
Challenges allow us to reach distant miles
cause they give us the excuse to tear our chains from the tiles
Love is the pursuit that makes life worth while,
so i wonder if you’ll meet me at the end of that aisle.
We hope to be two tree that are forever rapped together.
A bond so tight, the foulest weather couldn’t sever.
We go to bed at night, hopping forever can exist.
but in would never waste my time trying to find a way to measure it.
Cause I no longer let fear keep me keep me captive in its cage.
I flow with the storm and let it take me on my way,
cause I trust the winds force and the way the current sways.
Now i just close my eyes, and embrace the currents change.
When you dwell in the past you find yourself in hell
but when your heart swells, you can escape from your cell
don’t press repeat on the same sad song
like the leaves: blow away when it’s time to move on
Just flow with the wind, there’s no reason to be scared
I’ll give my last breathe to let you know that I cared
True wealth is not found in our bank account
It is obtained with proper spiritual guidance to self enlightened,
were you play the roles of both the wanderer, and the guide.
Fear is the path that we must concur,
and love is the peek we all seek.
And when our journey is complete
we will have shaken our insecurities
and finally be freePosted on December 19, 2011 with 2 notes
